I’m a 21 year old university student, undertaking a Masters in Medieval Studies. I graduated from my undergraduate this summer in English Literature.

I’ve been vegetarian all my life and was diagnosed as Coeliac in 2014. In the summer of 2015 I was diagnosed with IBS-D.

This blog is to inspire others to cook for themselves, or review gluten free vegetarian convenience foods and eateries!

Posting Schedule

I post recipes every Monday and other blog posts such as product reviews, awareness posts, opinion posts and advice every Friday. I post recipe videos to my Youtube channel once a month on the Wednesday closest to the 1st.



You will find my recipes are all both gluten and meat free. Due to my IBS-D I also try to avoid the following foods; onions, garlic, leeks, fennel, spring onion, peas, beans (all kinds), soya/tofu and chilli. You probably won’t see these ingredients included in my recipes, but feel free to add them when you make them yourselves!

You may notice that I have, where I am able, made my recipes either dairy free or vegan. This is not for myself, but for those of you that I know have other dietary needs and to try to include as many people as possible. It is worth mentioning that whilst I try to make sure my ingredients fit these requirements, my research is limited and you should always check the ingredients yourself before making any of my recipes.


I’ve run this blog for a year without needing to write this and with nothing but supportive and kind readers, for which I am incredibly grateful. In this cold online environment, this is often not the case. Yet now I must pen something in reply to some false accusations and unfair criticism that I have received of late. Please read it here before attacking my humble blog. Thank you.
